L-Cup

Hemispheric cup for optimum press-fit and minimum bone loss.

Presented with a porous plasma spray coating for optimum long-term fixation. Equipped with 4 anti-rotation tabs that ensure immediate fixation and prevent any rotational movement. Stability can be guaranteed by the addition of guidable screws in 5 orifices located where the bone offers greatest resistance.
A partially threaded version is available in which mechanical fixation is achieved by threading the cup to the acetabulum, and biological fixation is achieved by means of the porous coating of the unthreaded portion.

  • Made of titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V)
  • 2 versions: press fit and threaded
  • The press fit version has 4 peripheral tabs
  • The threaded version is a mixed design: partially threaded, and the rest with porous coating
  • Titanium plasma spray coating
  • RingLoc® anchoring between metal and insert
  • Inserts: Arcom® (low profile, 10º, Hi Wall), ceramic (Ceracup®)
