SpiderCup

The Spidercup® has been designed for use as a primary implant. It has 4 holes for surgeries where screw fixation is essential or advisable. These holes are designed for housing 6.5 mm. low profile, self tapping cancellous screws. Each screwhole is presented with a removable sealing plug which avoids particles migration.

The Spidercup® has a full hemispherical design. Three spikes help to ensure proper seating of components and to avoid stress shielding.

Titanium alloy plasma sprayed porous coating is a "closed pore" design that acts as a barrier to the migration of particle debris and provides exceptional rotational stability and improved long term fixation.
